Victoria Clause has almost 10 years of experience working in the tech innovation and agriculture sector in emerging markets. Prior to joining the AgriFin programme at Mercy Corps as an agriculture and technology consultant, Victoria has worked extensively with mobile network operators in Africa and Asia on designing and scaling information and financial services for smallholder farmers.
Through working with diverse organisations including the GSMA, M-Kopa, Caribou Digital and Mr Green Africa, Victoria has gained experience in managing multi-country programmes, providing technical assistance to commercial organisations, project management and on-the-ground implementation, as well as research and evaluation in the agri-tech sector. Victoria is passionate about designing relevant and accessible products for farmers, and brings human-centred design expertise to the organisations she works with.
Victoria holds a 1st class Master of Arts (MA) degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and lives in Nairobi, Kenya where she was born and raised.
